people the car have suffered injuries that have been taken to local hospitals. the cause of the crash is still unknown at this time. it live crew on the scene will bring you updates as they become available. >> the right hand lane a shutdown in the direction of highway 101. this is out the petaluma south of the marin, sonoma county line. we're tracking a fatal accident involving two vehicles. as of now it is not impacting the traffic. most of the traffic, the commute direction is in the southbound lane. remember this to be a visual distractions. schp has no estimated time when the lanes will reopen. we will continue to monitor. as of now you do not have to attack on any extra minutes your usual drive. hopefully we will have more information in my next

off part of the lane. kron fours jackie sissel joins us live with more. good morning jackie. >> good morning anny. >> i am at highway 101 between palo and navato. >> according to the chp at around 2:15 a.m. they received a call of a single car accident. took awhile to find the vehicle in question. turned out to be a toyota tunddra that had gone off the road and careened into a ditch. by the time these navato fire department arrived they pronounced the female driver dead at the same. there were also three other people inside of the vehicle. two of them were transported to memorial hospital in santa rosa in serious condition. eighth third has been transported to marin general. that

person in serious condition. as far as the chp they did not have a real cause of the accident. all they know is the car sped off of the freeway. they anticipate this will be shut down for another hour to. for people in a car one pronounced dead three of the stick into a local hospital. >> jackie, any idea of the ages of a woman and the people of the car? also if drugs are always a factor? >> now it is too early in the investigation. that will be part of it they will take a toxicology test of the driver. the other question no ages right now. no details of any identification of any of the victim. >> thank you jackie for that report. >> we are waiting on word from vatican city if a new pope has an elected. so far the answer is no spirit in

the meantime worshipers at st. mary's in san francisco are worshiping that is where we find mike pelton live at the church this morning. >> worshipers has come to st. mary's to pray that the cardinals select the right person to become the next pope decision that will take at least a few more hours. black smoke poured from the sistine chapel 45 minutes ago signaling there are more rounds of voting and we still do not have a new pope. the cardinals will break for lunch. two-thirds majority is required to select a new pope. there are 115 voting cardinals. 77 votes will be needed. everyone is waiting on white smoke. experts say there is no clear front runner this could take a lot of unusual. in 2005 white smoke came after just about 24 hours. james we will know later this morning if that holds true this morning. at about 930 the cardinals will vote
